Product Marketing Manager

Position Summary

We are searching for a Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about delivering high quality products to market. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic marketing team and have responsibility for a portfolio of research products centered around antibody workflow solutions. The role involves working cross functionally with marketing communications, sales, product development and manufacturing to develop and execute product strategy and requires someone with a strong history of success with the commercialization of highly scientific products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic and tactical planning efforts around key market segments to make investment recommendations to the leadership team
  • Develop product portfolio roadmap in collaboration with sales and product development
  • Own new product introduction from concept to commercialization, working closely with manufacturing, product development, marketing communications and sales
  • Analyze and define target market: market size, growth, attractiveness
  • Develop and implement market research strategy (VOC, primary research, surveys, focus groups) to guide product line planning
  • Perform and monitor market trends and customer need to identify opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation
  • Assist commercial teams in product and market knowledge sales support (sales support, training)
  • Build and execute marketing plans and campaigns to support product road map and strategic priorities
  • Report on business performance, trends and corrective actions

Qualifications Required Skills/Experience:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in product marketing or related role
  • Bachelor's degree in life science or related subject, MBA preferred
  • Experience managing a reagent product line (antibodies and kits an advantage)
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following - immunoassay, flow and IHC applications
  • Experience with workflow products (reagent / instrument solutions)
  • Experience working with global sales channels and distributors

Sales Support Specialist

Position Summary

The position will hold responsibility for developing and managing new/existing business throughout the United States. By working closely with sales teams and marketing you will source new business from new leads and prospects as well as existing customers. In the position you will be expected to develop and maintain a high level of academic and pharmaceutical market knowledge.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Source and develop new business:

  • Under the direction of the Inside Sales Supervisor, develop and drive new/existing business opportunities throughout North America.
  • Use a selection of channels in order to identify and qualify new business opportunities, including inbound lead follow up, outbound warm and cold calls, emails and social media.
  • Look to implement new and innovative strategies in order to identify new business and revenue streams.
  • Keep all channels of communication open with internal and external sales teams, lead generation and marketing.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of marketplace and competitors. Report findings and potential pipeline both monthly and quarterly to the Inside Sales Team Leader.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • B.S. in a biological based subject. Immunology coursework and/or experience is a big plus. Laboratory experience desired but not required.
  • An understanding of the Life Science Research Reagents Market and ProMab Biotechnologies portfolio
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a sales environment with a strong commercial focus.
  • Experience of using own initiative and working in a target-driven environment.
  • Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI’s)

Administrative & Logistics Assistant

Position Summary

ProMab seeks a motivated candidate to join our team to assist in day to day administrative and shipping tasks for our growing operation. The individual must be a team player, be adaptive to different situations, and possess a “can-do” positive attitude.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enter received vendor invoices into QuickBooks.
  • Cut checks and payments for due invoices.
  • Review past due customer invoices and reach out for updates.
  • Assist in preparation of shipping documents; packing slips, courier airway bill labels, and international custom documents.
  • Organize and update product inventory database, as needed.
  • Organize materials for shipments with liaison between laboratory and shipping team; which at times may require handling of biological vials/tubes from liquid nitrogen cold storage.
  • Other duties on an as needed basis assigned by supervisor or manager.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • 1-2 years or more prior experience working in a small to medium size business or corporation.
  • Basic knowledge and familiarity with QuickBooks.
  • Accounts payable and receivable experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Touch typing.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and courteous when communicating by phone or E-mail to external or internal personnel.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate Degree or above with 1-2 years of administrative work experience.
  • Prior experience at a Biotechnology or life sciences company would be a huge plus.
Technical Specialist Scientist

Position Summary

ProMab seeks an experienced and motivated Technical Support / Scientist who will interact with clients and provide scientific information for our antibody & protein services, as well as technological advice in CAR-T field.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultation and troubleshooting for ProMab's immunological and molecular biology products and services
  • Communicate with clients via phone and e-mail
  • Supervise and manage lab team to facilitate client projects
  • Skillfully design, perform, and write-up experiments

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • MS or Ph.D. in the field of Cell Biology, Immunology, Oncology, or related fields.
  • Highly-motivated, independent and responsible with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
  • Skilled in time management, organization, attention to detail to collaborate with clients & lab staff.
  • Broad and deep knowledge with hands-on experience in cancer research/cancer biology research, antibody engineering and their product development.
  • Strong technical skills on stem cell culture, medium formulation, antibody labeling, molecular cloning, antibody humanization, and mammalian protein expression system.
  • Required: hands-on experience with DNA expression vector design, stable cell line generation, protein expression in E. coli, yeast, baculovirus, and mammalian cells.
  • Additionally, experience with immunofluorescence assay, ELISA, Western blot, flow cytometry, immunogenicity assay, and tumorigenicity (in vivo) study desired.
  • Bonus: Monoclonal antibody development, antibody humanization, phage display, and virology experiences are highly desired.

Education and/or Experience:

  • MS or Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Cell Biology/Molecular Biology/Immunology or closely related fields, with 5-10 years of relevant experience in a Life Science/Biotechnology industry ranging from laboratory bench work to R&D.
