Description

CD47 is a membrane protein expressed by many cell types and involved in a variety of processes including cell adhesion, inflammation, apoptosis and angiogenesis. CD47 is upregulated in many cancers and has been found to inhibit cancer cell phagocytosis by macrophages. ProMab's PM-CAR1100 primary human CAR-T cells express an anti-CD47 CAR containing a CD47-specific scFv, hinge and transmembrane domains, the 4-1BB costimulatory domain and the CD3zeta activation domain.
