Ultra Pure Glial Filament Protein having a Molecular mass of 52 kDa.
The protein was lyophilized from a 1mg/ml solution containing 10mM sodium phosphate buffer pH 7.5, 6M urea, 2mM DTT, 1mM EDTA and 10mM methylammonium chloride.
Lyophilized GFP although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution GFP should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommendeY
