Description

CD30, encoded by the TNFRSF8 gene, is a type I membrane protein belonging to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily expressed primarily by T cells and B cells. CD30 binding to its ligand TNFSF8/CD30L results in NF-kB activation and cell proliferation. CD30 is expressed in a variety of hematological cancers including Hodgkin's lymphoma and anaplastic large-cell lymphoma (ALCL). ProMab's PM-CAR1107 primary human CAR-T cells express an anti-CD30 CAR containing a CD30-specific scFv, hinge and transmembrane domains, the 4-1BB costimulatory domain and the CD3zeta activation domain.
