Description

c-Met (mesenchymal transforming factor), also known as hepatocyte growth factor receptor (HGFR), is a type I membrane receptor kinase expressed by hepatocytes, epithelial cells lining the gastrointestinal tract, and basal keratinocytes of the esophagus and skin. Encoded by the MET gene, c-Met is critical for cell survival, embryogenesis, cell migration and invasion. Aberrant c-Met expression in various cancers, including renal, liver and gastric cancer, results in tumor growth, angiogenesis, and metastasis.

ProMab's PM-CAR1065 primary human CAR-T cells express an anti-c-Met CAR containing a c-Met-specific scFv, hinge and transmembrane domains, the 4-1BB costimulatory domain and the CD3zeta activation domain. The CAR-T cells are generated by transducing activated human T cells with replication-defective lentivirus encoding the CAR. After expansion, the cells are cryopreserved and shipped in vials containing up to 10 million cells. For orders over 10 million cells, please inquire. All ProMab cells are guaranteed to be sterile, pathogen-free and mycoplasma-free.
