Zolbetuximab is a humanized IgG1-kappa monoclonal antibody specific for human Claudin-18.2 (CLDN18.2), a protein residing in the tight junctions between epithelial cells. As CLDN18.2 is abundant in gastric tumors, Zolbetuximab is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal adenocarcinomas and pancreatic tumors. This Zolbetuximab biosimilar has the same amino acid sequence as Zolbetuximab.
