Relatlimab Biosimilar, Human LAG-3 mAb

Relatlimab is a human IgG4-kappa monoclonal antibody specific for human LAG-3, expressed on activated T cells. LAG-3 is a checkpoint protein, like PD-1, used to suppress T cell functions after the infectious agent has been eradicated or to prevent unwanted immune responses, e.g. during pregnancy. Multiple types of cancers express LAG-3, often in combination with PD-1. Relatlimab can trigger durable tumor regression in melanoma patients whose disease has progressed after anti–PD-1 monotherapy. This Relatlimab biosimilar has the same amino acid sequence as Relatlimab.
