Natalizumab is a humanized IgG4-kappa monoclonal antibody specific for human alpha-4 integrin. Integrin alpha-4 facilitates adhesion and migration of mononuclear immune cells. Natalizumab is used to prevent migration of autoimmune lymphocytes to areas of inflammation in Crohn's disease and multiple sclerosis. This Natalizumab biosimilar has the same amino acid sequence as Natalizumab.
