Infliximab is a chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody specific for TNF-alpha, a pro-inflammatory cytokine produced primarily by M1 macrophages. Infliximab is used to treat autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis, Crohn's disease, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ulcerative colitis.
