Description
Epratuzumab is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody specific for CD22, a cell surface glycoprotein on mature B cells and many B cell cancers. Epratuzumab binding to CD22 results in tumor cell phagocytosis primarily by antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Epratuzumab can also be used for autoimmune diseases with B cell involvement like lupus. This Epratuzumab biosimilar has the same amino acid sequence as Epratuzumab.
