Description

Daclizumab is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that binds to human CD25 which is expressed by activated T cells. CD25 binding to its ligand IL-2 promotes T cell division. Daclizumab binding to CD25 prevents it from binding to IL-2; therefore, Daclizumab is used to suppress T cell responses in relapsing Multiple Sclerosis and organ transplantation. This Daclizumab biosimilar has the same amino acid sequence as Daclizumab.
