Description
Clenoliximab is a chimeric (macaque-human) IgG4 monoclonal antibody specific for human CD4, a protein that facilitates antigen-mediated helper T cell activation. Clenoliximab binding to CD4 induces its downregulation, thereby suppressing T cell activation. Clenoliximab is used locally to treat rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease. This Clenoliximab biosimilar has the same amino acid sequence as Clenoliximab.
